Important issues for 2SLGBTQI+ seniors in the Ontario provincial election 2022
The Senior Pride Network Toronto
Older 2SLGBTQI+ Issues
2SLGBTQI+ elders, seniors, and older persons face a number of issues that have impacted their lived experiences and may have affected their mental or physical health and their overall well-being. Gaining an understanding of those issues is critical to informing government, service providers and community organizations about how to provide appropriate policies, programs and services, and positive, caring environments for older 2SLGBTQI+ people.
Commitment to Diversity and Advocacy
Because of the diversity of 2SLGBTQI+ elders, seniors and older persons and their life experiences, The Senior Pride Network Toronto advocates on their behalf adopting an intersectional, anti-oppression and equity-seeking approach.
